Challenge:

Support the company's first consumer product launch.

Solution:

The 118-year old Louisville Bedding Company came to us with a remarkable product designed to save lives -  a fire-resistant mattress cover that the company planned to launch nationwide. Peritus developed and implemented a high-visibility plan that targeted not only the general consumer, but the people who were most concerned about mattress fires: moms. Peritus aimed communications at mother's groups and parenting magazines nationwide to raise awareness of the product. We also helped Louisville Bedding Company develop a mattress-fire safety campaign that in support of the product launch that informed parents of the danger of mattress fires and gave them tips on making their homes safer.

Result:

The media campaign resulted in more than 200 million customer impressions through television, newspaper, magazine and online stories.
