Current Position: A founding partner of the company, Bob is the PR lead on one of the biggest and highest-profile urban revitalization projects to hit Louisville in a generation - Museum Plaza. Bob and the Peritus team currently assist developers Laura Lee Brown, Steve Wilson, Steve Poe and Craig Greenberg in successfully crafting and promoting a world-class image for this unprecedented multi-use skyscraper slated for completion in 2010.
On a day-to-day basis, Bob transitions seamlessly from client work to business development. He works closely with PhRMA, 21c Museum Hotel and the Louisville Marriott Downtown ensuring top-shelf results from project concept to completion. He also leads the Peritus team and aids in building the company's capacity and offerings. Most recently, Bob was an integral player in bringing about the company's new Creative Design Services department, which adds strategic graphic design to Peritus' menu of services.
Bob's reputation for results is a driving force behind Peritus' success. When 84WHAS/Clear Channel Communications threatened to pull the mic on worldwide broadcast of University of Louisville games via Sirius Satellite Radio, Nelligan Sports Marketing and U of L called Bob. Thanks in part to public pressure coordinated by Bob, Nelligan and U of L kept their access to Sirius and later scored a long-term contract.
Before Peritus: Bob's resume includes years in marketing communications for Fortune 500 companies and extensive experience with political campaigns. He was a go-to political consultant for high-profile races throughout the state and nation and helped handle swing-state advertising in a presidential race. Bob got his start managing advertising accounts for corporate biggies such as Pepsi, Thornton's, Ford Motor Co., Anheuser-Busch and Churchill Downs.
Additional Information: Bob has been active in the community for many years. He is an advocate for animal welfare and was a founding board member of Child Assault Prevention of Kentucky. He has also put in many volunteer hours with the Kentucky Derby Festival.
