She currently provides strategic communications counsel to high-profile clients including 21c Museum Hotel, John-Kenyon American Eye Institute, Tiffany & Co. and Passport Health Plan. Danielle has crafted and implemented a multi-media PR and advertising strategy for John-Kenyon American Eye Institute to grow the practice’s business and position it as the region’s foremost eye surgery center. Before Peritus:
Before joining Peritus, Danielle worked as a recruitment marketing and branding specialist for Norton Healthcare, one of the region’s largest hospital systems. While at Norton, she played an integral part in the creation, planning and launch of a new web-based employee referral program for the company’s more than 10,000 employees. Her role also included the creation of materials for new employees and the design and placement of all recruitment advertising.
As an undergraduate at the University of Kentucky, Danielle jumped at any opportunity to gain on-the-job experience. She spent two summers as a sports intern at WPLG-TV in Miami, Fla., learning two valuable lessons from the fast-paced world of professional and college sports: think on your feet and be ready at a moments’ notice. This experience was put to the test when she interned in the Media Relations Department at the University of Kentucky, where she provided event and media relations support at men’s and women’s basketball games and wrote for the UK Athletics website.
Additional Information:
A Kentucky native who grew up in Miami, Danielle returned to the Bluegrass to attend the University of Kentucky where she majored in broadcast journalism with minors in English & history and was a member of the Honors Program. An avid sports fan, Danielle assists the UK Media Relations department at home sports events. She also volunteers her time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentucky and the Susan G. Komen foundation.
