Current Position:
Tres Watson joined Peritus in December of 2008 as an Account Representative based in our Lexington, Ky. office. He uses his vast network and years of campaign experience to represent the interests of Peritus' public affairs clients.
A veteran of grassroots campaigns in Eastern, Central and Western Kentucky, Tres brings a unique knowledge of the federal, state and local political landscape in Kentucky to Peritus to help our clients pursue their goals from Paducah to Pikeville.
Before Peritus:
Prior to joining Peritus, Tres served as the Bowling Green/Second District Victory Director for the successful '08 campaigns of Congressman Brett Guthrie and Senator Mitch McConnell. He also assisted in several local campaigns with a highly effective grassroots strategy.
Before moving to Bowling Green, Tres worked for the Republican Party of Kentucky where he served as the Organizational Director and Deputy 72 Hour Program Director, and campaign manager for State Senator Brandon Smith's successful special election victory.
Tres is a proven grassroots organizer who can bring immediate value to a public policy campaign.
Additional Information:
Born in Paducah, Ky. and raised in Richmond, VA, Tres graduated with a B.A. in International Relations from Centre College in Danville, Ky. While at Centre, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Strasbourg, France and pitch for the baseball team. He is also an active member of the Republican Party in Fayette County, having been elected as an at-large member of the Fayette County Republican Party's Executive Committee.
