Current Position: As Director, Equine Marketing, Lisa Sheehy is responsible for all aspects of our Lexington-based Equine Marketing Division. Lisa’s experience executing comprehensive marketing plans for organizations targeting the lucrative equine market bring immediate value to Peritus in our equine marketing division. Lisa has the industry experience and extensive contacts to ensure her clients are positioned at the forefront of the equine market -- locally, nationally and internationally.
Before Peritus: As the owner of Sheehy Equine Media Services, Lisa worked with top names in the thoroughbred industry, providing unique insights into the equine market and access to information, organizations and decision-makers.
She has more than 20 years of marketing, advertising and public relations experience in a variety of areas, including research, media planning, media buying and selling, print layout, design and production, web design and maintenance, event planning with knowledge of cultural pitfalls, video and radio production, political campaigns and multi-faceted public relations functions.Lisa brings a deep portfolio of clients to her role at Peritus, including Kirkwood Stables, Woodford County Alltech FEI 2010 World Games International Marketing and Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs- Equine and Gaming Group.
In addition, Miss Sheehy also serves at the exclusive account manager for the award-winning Keeneland magazine published by Bloodhorse, Inc. Keeneland provides in-depth coverage of the legendary Keeneland Racecourse and the Keeneland "lifestyle," including the color, excitement, tradition, style, and sophistication of Keeneland and the sport of Thoroughbred racing.
Additional Information: A graduate of Tulane University, Lisa serves as partner/vice president of Lexington-based technology developer Sisters of Invention and is involved with numerous charity boards and committees including Vice President for the Bluegrass Farms Chaplaincy, Safekids, and Woodford Humane Society. Lisa is a member of the Thoroughbred Club of America. She has owned a horse farm which bred, raised, sold and raced Thoroughbreds.
