Challenge:
Rally support for legislation crucial to a $490 million skyscraper.

Solution:
The most unique, skyline-changing project to ever hit Louisville could not become a reality without the help of tax increment financing legislation from the state. When developers got word that there was opposition to the legislation by another interest group, the developers of Museum Plaza turned to Peritus to pave the way for passage. We developed a media strategy and public outreach plan that raised awareness of the issue and built support in the Capitol and throughout the state. Through press conferences, alliance development, strategic messaging and development of grassroots support, Peritus was able to communicate to key players the impact the project would have not only in Louisville, but to the entire state.

Result:
The legislation passed with overwhelming support, paving the way for the next phase of the project: construction.
