Elizabeth Paul

Elizabeth engages with clients and business leaders to bridge solutions for issues facing our communities. Originally from Decatur, Ala., Elizabeth graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in political science before beginning her career on the Hill in Washington, D.C. With more than 14 years of experience working in government affairs, Elizabeth brings a unique policy lens to the Peritus team. In her prior roles, Elizabeth managed a political action committee, executed fundraising strategies for political and nonprofit clients, coordinated and managed the governmental affairs practice group for a major K Street law firm, and advocated for policies to promote economic development in Birmingham and across the state. Elizabeth is a graduate of Auburn University’s Government and Economic Development Institute’s Intensive Economic Development Training Course and was selected to serve as a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Business Leads Fellow. Elizabeth currently serves on the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama’s Roundtable. The Roundtable meets quarterly with officials and leaders to discuss government issues, fostering informed decisions, community commitment and civic leadership.
