How do you position an organization as the leader in youth sports experiences?

Leverage a national event to put them on center stage.

Opportunity

In conjunction with the 2023 and 2024 Pro Bowl Games, where flag football was played for the first time, Peritus partnered with RCX Sports to enhance the organization’s visibility and help further establish RCX as a flag football industry leader as the organization hosted the NFL FLAG Championships. Additionally, RCX's CEO, Izell Reese, was recently named a FLAG Football Global Ambassador leading up to the Pro Bowl Games.

Execution

Through an earned media and thought leadership strategy, we successfully kickstarted RCX's "coming out party" by securing extensive national and international coverage, including 10+ on-site interviews featuring CEO Izell Reese and other RCX team members across outlets in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the UK. Our efforts generated 41 stories reaching nearly 44 million viewers, including an in-depth feature with the BBC, while also paving the way for lasting media relationships and continued thought leadership engagement opportunities throughout the year.

Impact

Our efforts successfully positioned RCX Sports and CEO Izell Reese as the leader in youth sports experiences, setting the stage for continue awareness and engagement to come.

STORY VIEWERS

“In the community where I grew up in rural Alabama, my team was a melting pot. We didn't see color; we were kids. We made lifelong friendships. Our parents sat together. Nothing brings a community together more than youth. So, youth participating in sport, I think, is definitely an antidote. Not the solution not the full solution but part of it.”
